I have this spoon and the Softedge Slotted Spatula, too. I use it even when I cook in cookware other than nonstick and have come to prefer these to my wooden tools that cannot cannot go in the dishwasher. These can. I like the really generous size and I use it for stirring and sauteing. It's well-balanced and unlike some nonstick tools, the silicone means it slips smoothly and quietly over pan surfaces. I thought food might get stuck along the edge where silicone and steel meet but it doesn't.
