Since I have bought Kuhn Rikon items before and have been very happy with them, I thought this would be in that same mold. It is NOT. The very first time I tried using this, the blade just popped off and I couldn't get it back in. Then my husband tried and badly cut his finger. It is unusable and the company should be ashamed to put its name on this piece of crap.
