Customer Review: Can't see why all the raves

I was so excited to get this knife in the mail. I ordered it after reading several reviews on different websites. Not that costly of a purchase (pretty cheap in fact), but I wanted a sharp knife that my veggies wouldn't stick to (and it didn't hurt that it matched my lime green cutting board). After using it several times this week, I cannot for the life of me see why people raved so highly about this knife. It's just like a crappy knife from any old cheap butcher block set. While the color is cute (although I worry my young son will think it's a toy so I had to put it in a high cabinet), it's really not that sharp. Things still stick to it despite the plastic coating, and I'm a little worried that the color in the plastic might contain lead based paint since the product is manufactured in China. I will not be buying any more Kuhn Rikon products. I gave it 2 stars only because it does cut (like any old crappy knife) and I'm girlie enough to still like the color (but due to worry over the lead content, I'll probably toss it).
